The SKG-IF Working Group has been dedicated to addressing the challenges and opportunities for fostering interoperability among Scientific Knowledge Graphs (SKGs). Over the past year and a half, the WG has developed a foundational framework that enables diverse SKGs to interoperate more seamlessly, ensuring improved data sharing, reusability, and integration across scientific domains.

This session will serve as a platform to present and discuss the key outcomes of the WG, and will have the following objectives:

• Dissemination: Share and discuss the final deliverables of the SKG-IF WG, including the interoperability framework and related guidelines or tools.
• Engage Stakeholders: Provide a space for feedback from SKG practitioners, researchers, and policymakers on the WG outcomes.
• Explore Applications: Highlight case studies or pilot implementations that demonstrate the impact of the framework in facilitating SKG interoperability.
• Discuss Next Steps: Identify potential follow-up actions (e.g., API development), collaborations, and extensions to ensure the sustainability and adoption of the framework.

The session will include presentations, an interactive Q&A, and a panel discussion, ensuring active participation and diverse perspectives from the audience.

By gathering participants from the SKG and broader research data communities, the session aims to foster dialogue on implementing and extending the WG outputs. It will also provide a forum to discuss real-world use cases, identify gaps in current practices, and align future efforts with the broader RDA mission of advancing open and interoperable research data infrastructures.
