Dear members of the RDA RDARI Interest Group,

The next RDA plenary will be a virtual plenary and will take place 16-20 March 2026. The theme for this plenary will be ‘Data Continuity for research resilience.’ Data continuity is essential for research resilience. As the research and scientific landscape faces institutional changes, technological transitions, and global disruptions, VP26 brings together the RDA community to address critical challenges in maintaining access to research data.

The RDARI Interest Group would like to submit a session that focuses on the upheaval faced by institutions and how they are aiming to provide data continuity under these challenging conditions. Institutions are facing changes in assumptions on ongoing support provided through federal, national or local funding or other sources.  How are institutions changing their approaches to their research data architectures to deal with these challenges? Examples may include models of using national infrastructure, collaborating on services or establishing consortia.
