covering all aspects and prospects. May be on page 5 – typology of data
centres – the category “sciences” should be split up or at least explained

1) Penultimate Draft of Income Streams for Data Repositories
Please find attached the penultimate version of the Interest Group’s report
on ‘Income Streams for Data Repositories’. A draft version of this was
circulated just before the RDA Plenary in Paris. We have subsequently
edited this version in line with various comments and suggestions received,
and we have added material derived from the SWOT analysis conducted at our
session at the plenary meeting.
We would be very grateful for your final comments and suggestions on this
draft no later than Start of Business on Monday 8 February.
2) Session at RDA Plenary 7, in Tokyo: OECD Global Science Forum Project on
Business Models for Data Repositories
The IG will once again be running a session at the RDA Plenary in Tokyo, in
collaboration with the IG on Domain Repositories. Please see the

An important development is that following a proposal and presentation made
in the Autumn, this work will be going forward under the auspices of the
OECD Global Science Forum. One of the objectives of the session in Tokyo
will be to discuss that project and provide guidance and suggestions.

the project proposal.
