NEW! February 2020: In order to make it easier for you to collaborate with your teams, we have improved the user experience of your Groups’ online space. A series of icons and labels now guide your activity and help you post messages to the group members, create and organise wiki pages, send events’ announcements, publish and organise the outputs and case statements resulting from your group’s activity and browse all the members of your Group. One new area also collects the Plenary sessions your group contributed to.

We hope that you’ll find this useful! Please do not hesitate to send your comments and suggestions to the RDA Secretariat here.

RDA is an international volunteer member-based organisation and as such encourages the initiative and support of its members across the globe to animate their community on a national level. RDA Europe national node are part of the RDA Europe support programme whose aim is to interact with researchers and innovators in the local language, offering them a platform for exchange of information pertinent to the RDA and their activities and in strict compliance with RDA's guiding principles of Openness, Transparency, Consensus-based, Community driven, Harmonisation and Non-profit. The national pages should not be interpreted as an official representation of the Research Data Alliance in any country or any organisation unless this is specifically stated...

If there is an RDA National Group set up in your country, once your account is active you will be subscribed to receive information and news from that group. If you wish to unsubscribe, you can easily do that by editing the settings in your profile.

This is the web page for the Irish National RDA Node. We are delighted that the National Library of Ireland is the Irish National RDA Node, which means that the National Library of Ireland is responsible for the support and promotion of RDA activities in Ireland. Please visit www.nli.ie to learn more about the National Library of Ireland.

We work very closely with the Digital Repository of Ireland (www.dri.ie ) who are a partner in the current RDA EU grant, and a leader in the area of Research Data Management particularly in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

We co-organised the third RDA Plenary meeting in Dublin in 2014, and continue to promote RDA in Ireland and also abroad. This working area connects researchers working with research data in Ireland, and enables them to interconnect with broader RDA activities through e.g. RDA Working and Interest Groups. We are happy to engage with researchers, research communities and private sector actors, regarding getting involved in RDA, and testing and adopting RDA outputs and recommendations. We have a particular focus on library, archives and digital humanities activities.
