RDA in Aotearoa New Zealand is the national node for the Research Data Alliance, coordinated by the Aotearoa New Zealand National Committee on Data in Research (CoDiR). Key functions of CoDiR are to connect with individuals and organisations active in data-related activities in Aotearoa New Zealand, and to channel communication involving CODATA, WDS, RDA and other relevant organisations to and from the New Zealand research sector.

This group is dedicated to RDA activities, updates and events in Aotearoa New Zealand. It brings together those involved in the production, measurement, collection, storage, and use of data in research, with aim of sharing best practice, building relationships that will add value to our work, and opening up new opportunities for collaborative research. The group is a community for those interested in data in Aotearoa New Zealand, and holds a shared vision that reflects Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the FAIR, CARE and TRUST principles, from gathering, measuring, storing, to using and reusing data.
