RDA is an international volunteer member-based organisation and as such encourages the initiative and support of its members across the globe to animate their community on a national level. RDA Europe national node are part of the RDA Europe support programme whose aim is to interact with researchers and innovators in the local language, offering them a platform for exchange of information pertinent to the RDA and their activities and in strict compliance with RDA's guiding principles of Openness, Transparency, Consensus-based, Community driven, Harmonisation and Non-profit. The national pages should not be interpreted as an official representation of the Research Data Alliance in any country or any organisation unless this is specifically stated.

If there is an RDA National Group set up in your country, once your account is active you will be subscribed to receive information and news from that group. If you wish to unsubscribe, you can easily do that by editing the settings in your profile.

Welcome to the official page of DK-RDA - the Danish national RDA node. The page is dedicated to the RDA-related activities, updates and events in Denmark.

The DK-RDA-node wants to:

  • Enhance knowledge about and use of RDA in Danish research communities
  • Support synergy and coordination between national activities and international activities on RDM, Open data, FAIR data and services etc.
  • Coordinate and support Danish researchers, data professionals etc. in RDA part taking

Research data in the context of the humanities could be derived or compiled resulting from processing or combining 'raw' data (e.g., text and data mining, compiled databases), and/or they could also be reference or canonical meaning a static or organic conglomeration or collection of datasets, probably published and curated (e.g., collection of letters, archive of historical images).
