Wrap up from RDA P24 and GORC II WG May meeting
Hi all,
Thank you to those that participated in the GORC II WG RDA P24 session! We had some great discussions on the task groups (TGs) and inter-group task forces (TFs) we have planned and the commons types dimensions, which is our first deliverable. You can see the full meeting notes and links in the collaborative notes, with the main takeaways being that we want to refine and test the commons types dimensions with the representatives from the GORC IM WG speaker series before locking in this deliverable and to move forward getting our TGs and TFs underway. Please join the GORC II WG to actively participate in the GORC work.
We’ll have the GORC II WG May meeting on 22 May at 23:00 UTC – I’ll be sending a google calendar invite shortly in case you’d like to be involved, but all reminders and wrap ups will be posted only to the GORC II WG page. In the meantime, I encourage you to think about which TGs/TFs you’d like to be a part of and go ahead and sign up. Some of the groups have enough members already to get started, and so don’t wait to join a group you’re interested in!
