Dear RDA IG and WG chairs, members of the GORC-IG, and members of the GORC-WG,

The Global Open Research Commons International Model Working Group (GORC-WG) has been working to create a model describing commons attributes so that commons developers can compare features across research clouds and commons. We have now conducted our final evaluation phase and would like to share our newest version of the model.

Version 0.6 of our international model is open for your review and we invite you to add comments and feedback. This is not a community request for comment, but an opportunity to influence the model and our work during this last stage of our working group. We ask that if you provide feedback in any capacity on the model, by email or comments in the spreadsheet, that you please complete our demographics survey. We will be sending the versions of all of our deliverables for a formal community request for comment on 14 September 2023.

Our work on the commons attribute model is ongoing, and we are entering a final review of the model. If you are interested in helping us create our final outputs, we strongly encourage you to join the GORC-WG sooner rather than later.

    Sincerely,
The GORC-WG co-chairs (CJ Woodford, Andrew Treloar, Mark Leggott)
