The Charter asserts that a wider, shared understanding of risks and solutions relating to uses of location data can improve standards of practice, and help protect individuals and the public interest.
As strong advocates of Locus Charter , we would like to invite your organisations (industry, government, universities, NGOs etc) to join and support the Charter. We are very much of the opinion that the Charter can improve understanding of the risk inherent in the data ecosystem, improving risk management and realising the many benefits of geospatial technologies for individuals and societies.
