Changing group meeting’s schedule

Hi,

Our group meetings have had alternating schedule (09:00 UTC/ 10:00 CET/ 18:00 JST and 14:00 UTC / 15:00 CET / 09:00 EST) to accommodate participation from different parts of the world. During our March 2 2025 09:00 UTC meeting it was proposed that we should switch back to using just one time (14:00 UTC / 15:00 CET / 09:00 EST) for our meetings. The alternating time table has not been successful in attracting participants as planned and it has been tricky for others who have been actively participating in all the meetings.

In order to maintain the momentum of the group meetings, I’m proposing that the group switches to 14:00 UTC / 15:00 CET / 09:00 EST time for all the upcoming group meetings starting from April 4th.

- Delete current FAIR Mapping recurring events from your calendar
- Download ICS file or files from https://docs.google.com/document/d/1VxOwYv2t4c-cgUYvQRiTskVI60ogp_CIbnIrgDYx7uQ
- Add ICS event information to your calendar
- Both events start at 14:00 UTC and your calendar is responsible for handling any timezone/daylight saving tweaks needed.

There was a problem with configuration of the 1st Monday of the month calendar event that ended the recurring event series too early. I've updated the event now to continue until the end of the year.
