    Dear FAIR4ML members,

Due to the low number of people who have commented on the files so far, we have decided to extend today’s deadline, to provide everyone with more time to review and share feedback.

In light of this, we would like to have by the end of this week:

Your feedback on the best practices here, by adding comments/ suggestions on the practices
already in the list and/or adding additional practices if you feel they are missing.

Your information details here, if you’re interested in participating in the two-round Delphi study or if you can suggest other participants from your research team.

For more information, please find here the slides of our last presentation.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
We look forward to receiving your valuable feedback by the revised deadline.

    Best regards,

    On behalf of the team

In terms of the participants, I can help to circulate the survey details to the World Data System membership, the ESIP Data Readiness cluster (focussed on AI data readiness) and other avenues. Will there be a link or do you need the email address in advance. If in advance, perhaps it might be better to have a pre-survey form to submit their contact information rather than a googlesheet in case there are concerns of privacy?

    Dear Reyna,

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Yes, we would greatly appreciate it if you could help us distribute the survey details to the World Data System membership, the ESIP Data Readiness cluster and any other relevant avenues.

We have prepared a short text that you can share with them, which includes an email address where they can confirm they interest in participating, by June 10, 2024.

    Please, find the text below:

“We need your expertise in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning to create a “Top 10 Recommendations for FAIR Implementation in AI”. Your input can help shape guidelines that will make your research more efficient and impactful and your life easier.

As part of Skills4EOSC, in collaboration with the Research Data Alliance FAIR4ML Interest Group, we’re conducting a Delphi study to reach consensus on these recommendations. This involves two rounds of anonymous surveys and a final review round by a few volunteers.

Want to participate? Please email us at by June 10, 2024. Participation at each stage is completely voluntary and time commitment is minimal.

Be a part of this important initiative to contribute to the AI/ML/DL research community!”

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Thank you very much for your support!
