Updated Compilation of Data Versioning Use Cases (1.3)

Dear All,

This updated version features a collection of 55 data versioning use cases, expanding on the previous release (v1.1) by adding 16 new cases to the original 39.

The use cases were gathered from individual member contributions and literature reviews. The analysis of the use cases have contributed to the development of the data versioning principles: Versioning data is about more than revisions: A conceptual framework and proposed principles.

We invite you to review this update. If you have additional use cases not covered in this collection, please reach out to the co-chairs or leave a comment here – we will get in touch with you.

Our goal is to submit this updated version as the group’s supporting output after the next plenary (#24).
