A quick note from me, thanking Reyna for organising Thursday (as I will be travelling* and unable to attend the meeting, and I believe Brigitte as well).
Also, some updates from me:
* My contact info.: You’ll see I’m writing from a new email address; FYI, earlier this month I transitioned to a new job–happily still highly RDA (and data granularity)-relevant. It’s working for a scholarly society–FASEB (Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology)—leading a new initiative to foster data sharing & re-use. I look forward to bringing that perspective to our work.
* Use cases subgroup: Others will be able to share updates on Thursday, but I will share generally:
* We are still looking for new members for this subgroup, which can involve very moderate amounts of work.
* Members are at present working through a list of RDA documents and pulling out use cases.
* Given my job change, I’m transitioning our subgroup calendar invites (to my new calendar system), so stay tuned for that in August. In the meantime members are welcome to organize ad-hoc meetings and/or communicate via emailDataWorks!
