    I thought you might be interested in seeing this press release: https://www.ogc.org/standards/requests/245 – notable for the mention of granularity and metadata in the same bullet! No best practice, but it is practice in the real world.

    Dear Chris,
    Great example indeed, thanks for sharing. Is this a standard with which you’re familiar/use regularly? I was about to ask if you were going to submit a Request for Comment, but now I see that it closed back in May. Ostensibly there’s a revised version since this announcement that factors in the comments?
