    Dear AIDV-WG members,
    Some updates:
We will not hold the Deliverables meeting (Team Leads & Fellows) tomorrow, Thursday, 8 December, 14:00-15:00 CET. Instead we will hold only one meeting with the Team Leads & Fellows on Thursday, 15 December, 14:00-15:00 CET (Brussels time) (Zoom:  Passcode 123). We understand it is getting busy for everyone with the end of the year in sight, but hope that as many as possible can make it. Also, all AIDV-WG members are welcome to attend should you have an interest. We will send later this week an invitation to the Team Leads and Fellows as well as anyone else expressing an interest.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, 2 January. I am away from my desk from 19 December until 18 January. It seems likely that others may be taking a bit of a break at the end of the year. So we will move the meeting to Monday, 23 January, from 14:00 to 15:00/15:30 CET (Brussels time). Apologies to those who may be inconvenienced. The Zoom link is the same as for the regular montly meetings:… Passcode 123  If you need a calendar invitation, just send me an e-mail.
Our 2 sessions have been accepted to the RDA 20th Plenary on 21-23 March 2023 in Gothenburg, Sweden:

EOSC-Future / RDA Artificial Intelligence and Data Visitation Working Group (AIDV-WG) Session: ‘The Ethics of AI and Data Visitation: Building Blocks for Data Commons and Open Science’
EOSC-Future / RDA Artificial Intelligence and Data Visitation Working Group (AIDV-WG) Session & CODATA International Data Policy Committee (IDPC) Joint Session: ‘AI in Data Policy and Data Governance: Designing Research Methodologies for Crisis Situations’

We would very much like your input into these sessions. Unfortunately, we are not funded by EOSC-Future or RDA to support travel to this conference or other events. I discussed today with Elif this concern, and we decided to look for other potential sources for funding. Should we be successful, it will likely not be prior to the meeting in March. We sincerely regret this. If you do find independent support (from your institution or otherwise) and you need a letter of invitation, please let us know.
Finally, we will also work to put together some webinars as we suggested on Monday. Your advice and suggestions would be really appreciated.
    Kind regards,
Francis (also on behalf of Elif, Claudia, and Tshiamo)
