Hello all,
First, let me share with you that the video of the Software-Source-Code IG
VP17 session is now accessible on YouTube: https://youtu.be/Nif-Ax7ViGs
The reason I'm writing to you today is to get your help with the next
Plenary. We need to decide if we want a session and if you have ideas you
would like to present at the Plenary.
Here are some ideas collected on the last plenary:
1. How to describe software with software metadata
2. Community curated repositories for trusted software artifacts (e.g.
BioConda)
3. Basic ”literacy” on dependency management and risk assessment when using
packages (e.g. know that you're executing arbitrary code on you computer
and what that means)
4.Software reproducibility
If you wish to prepare a presentation, please let us know in the email or
on the Google doc below.
I have prepared the following document to apply for a group session:

Thank you for all your help!
Best,
