Meeting minutes and next steps

04 Dec 2017

Dear all,

last Wednesday, the last virtual meeting of our WG for the time being took place. Please find the minutes at [1]. During the next weeks, probably until the end of January, we will work on the early adoption of our recommendations [2] and on completing the recommendations document itself. Currently, we have initial adopters for 4 platforms:

Stefan Funk – DARIAH Repository (import, maybe also export)
Rolf Krahl – ICAT (export)
David Wilcox – Fedora Repository (export, maybe also import)
Thomas Jejkal – KIT Data Manager (import and export)

These early adoptions will serve as demonstrators for the next plenary, where we are expected to wrap up our WG.

If you like to contribute by adopting our recommendations for another platform or if you plan to support one of the early adopters, please feel free to contact him directly or to send a short notice to the mailing list.
During adoption time, all communication will take place via the mailing list. As soon as the next virtual meeting is approaching, I will send a short reminder.

Regards,
Thomas

    Hi Thomas, hi all,

actually I think, for the DARIAH-DE Repository (that was released just
today :-), we can implement export first, and then maybe import later.
    Just for the record...

All the best, and: HO! HO! HO! :-)
    Stefan
