Data reuse assessment using provenance [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi all,
I was surprised to see that there was a SciDataCon 2016 (http://www.scidatacon.org/2016/) session all about data reuse fitness assessment (http://www.scidatacon.org/2016/sessions/, see #53) that didn’t mention provenance. What were the session organisers thinking!
So here’s a very short paper (4 pages) I’ve written for the session on the possible use of provenance for data reuse fitness assessment. There is a small code repo associated with the paper giving code examples and ontology images. Just a warning: this paper has not yet been reviewed so far so likely contains many errors so please don’t distribute too widely.
I’ll be presenting this (if accepted) a few days before our next IG meeting in Colorado at the RDA plenary within SciDataCon.
Cheers,
Nick
