# 1. Next web meeting
We will have a web meeting of the group. Please find the Doodle from

before end of the next week (31 May)

For the preparation of the next plenary I have opened the Google docs
where you can write your proposals for the topic of the next meeting and

# 2. Next plenary issues
Next RDA Plenary will take place in Espoo/Helsinki on 23-25 October
2019. There will be very interesting co-located events on 20-22 October,
so there will be programme for full week.
Important dates are:
– Registration is already open and Early Bird Rate ends September 24,
2019 midnight EST
– Call for sessions (group session, joint sessions and BoFs) is open and
will close: 27 June 2019 at 16:00 UTC
– Call for posters is open and the deadline to submit poster application
is 27 June 2019 at 16:00 UTC.

# 3. RDA EU Ambassadors deadline extended: Submit your application for
the grants by the 27 May 17:00 CEST
The RDA EU programme offers six grants of a maximum of €7,000, targeting
recognised domain experts and skilled communicators, serving as conduits
between the Research Data Alliance and the wider domain specific data
communities.
The programme is aimed at a broad domain and topic coverage, we
particularly encourage applications from disciplines underrepresented in
the RDA. Please review the current list of Ambassadors [1], their
existing domain and country coverage, and complement these by filling in
other gaps.
RDA Europe is committed to provide you both financial and operational
support for the Ambassadorial work, as well as the official
acknowledgement of your role, contributions to RDA activities and
advancements in your domain brought forward.
