Agenda:

1. Use cases are coming in, but we still have a few gaps in our targeted dissemination.
2. brief discussion of these first use cases, and how this might impact the review process.
3. go over the draft agendas for the IG Repository Platforms for Research Data - P6 meeting session and the Joint meeting of IG Libraries for Research Data, IG Long tail of research data & IG Repository Platforms for Research Data
4. repeated call for reviewers of related documents, and in that context,
5. "meta-analysis" (of prior use case work) may be really important four our IG's work, based on recent input by Peter Wittenburg.

• Using survey software for the use case was dropped as in tests the handling and analysis capabilities were worse than for using word and excel
• Sent around requests for use cases in many malininglists - see Webpage
  • Everybody feel free to send invitiation for use cases around
• Currently no direct involvement from Great Britain – how to get them involved?
• Personally adressing people and projects is best to involve people
• Organiztions that operate repositories and users are very valuable as they have already the experience to identify gaps
• Liasons to other WG/IG should advertise use case gathering and provide help within their WG/IG
  • Which IG/WG do we miss liasons to?

  • Start with a simple requirements matrix,
  • Try to find clustering/topics that are related
  • What to do if communities/fields are missing? Direct contact to resolve issues
  • Categorize use cases into individual scientists, institution, federations …
