Node coordinators and member recently had two meetings with Slovenian research funders and decision makers. Representatives of the Node updated the officials of both institutions on the current activities and discussed future involvement and cooperation within the open science landscape in Slovenia.
At the meeting with Slovenian Research Agency on February 13th the focus was on how to record and enforce open access to research data, how to implement DMPs and how to train the support services that assist research and RDM. The Agency welcomed Node’s input and expert knowledge with hopes to engage it in future projects.
Current and planned OA Strategy and Action plan were discussed at the meeting with the Ministry of Education on February 26th. Node will take part in the evaluation of the present state of OS activities and will assist with the creation of new documents for the next period. Ministry will also support the activities of Node after the closure of the project.
Node coordination plans to hold a joint meeting with both the Agency and the Ministry in the next months.
