Dear co-chairs,
Congratulations! Council has approved your *Persistent Identification of
Instruments WG* and I have updated your group status to fully Recognized
and Endorsed. Your 18 month timeline starts now and places your estimated
WG finish date at early Octobert 2019. This would put your 12-month
community report out at P13 in March 2019 and your final Recommendations
would be presented at P14 in October 2019. There is some flexibility here
in terms of reporting, though if you will be working beyond the end of
October 2019, TAB will be asking for an extension proposal. Note that your
work does not need to be final at the 12 month report out, this is more a
way to ensure community awareness of your group activities and to give you
a chance to get additional input and adopters before your Recommendations
are finalized.
Your TAB Liaison is Larry Lannom (cc’ed here) and I will be your
Secretariat Liaison. We are available to help you and your group better
connect to RDA and reach your goals, and are your primary contacts for any
questions, concerns, or requests going forward.
