Collecting observable property types

Dear all,
for the purpose to test our I-ADOPT Framework we are looking for representative examples of observable properties from different (environmental) subdomains (biodiversity, marine, ecosystem, atmosphere, …) , application areas (in-situ, simulation,..), scales (nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio), and complexity. We aim for 30 good examples.
You can
1. select them from existing lists (Nitrogen related, Essential Ocean Variables, Gwen’s list or eLTER list)
2. or by proposing your own ones.
Please add your choice into this table till February 21.
Thank you in advance. Your help is very much appreciated. We will use the examples in our workshops we are going to organize in March (more Information to come).
