Hi Everyone,
Thank you to those that attended the GORC-WG meeting earlier today. For those unable to attend, you can find the meeting recording and rolling notes on our meeting wiki.
We had a very informative presentation from the Digital Research Alliance of Canada given by Mark Leggott, followed by a brief overview of current visualizations of the GORC-WG phase 1 review and analysis. We are encouraging all GORC-WG members, and especially TG members, to attend and register for our GORC-WG workshop happening on Friday March 24, 2023, which you can register for here: https://forms.gle/kzZoYtfZvBgKJQqm7 . Note that in-person registrations are limited and only open until March 6, 2023.
Additionally, self-nomincations are open for interested GORC-WG members to become co-chairs starting right after RDA20. If you are interested in being a co-chair of the GORC-WG, please email Karen, Mark, and Andrew to let them know (ito-director@oceannetworks.ca, andrew.treloar@ardc.edu.au, mark.leggott@alliancecan.ca).
Please note that our next meeting will be at RDA20. Our breakout session is Tuesday March 21, 2023 13:00-14:30 UTC. This is also the deadline for TGs to complete their evaluation of attributes and KPIs of commons. See the TG wiki for more information. Please edit and review the methodology sections of the martyr doc and select a representative to give an overview of your work at RDA20.
If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to join a TG, please contact me at ito-ra1@oceannetworks.ca.
Sincerely,
CJ
