    Dear colleagues,
    coming Thursday we will have a lecture from Stefan Weisgerber about the reasons why DIN/ISO are interested to engage with FDOF and want to help making the FDOs an international standard. We signed the collaboration beginning of the year and in the meantime much has been done especially in the interaction with industry folks to bring FDOs on the surface. Stefan Weisgerber is actively involved now in discussions about important projects were FDOs can play a role. Since this talk will get us out of the normal “academic bubble” we are working in it will certainly be of interest.
    Since this will be an open session, invite your colleagues to this talk as well.
