Report of online meeting #3 available

24 Jun 2019
Groups audience:

Dear members of the RDA FAIR Data Maturity Model Working Group
Many thanks to the participants in the third online meeting that took place
in two session on 18 June 2019 for your active participation and valuable
contributions. The editorial team is working hard to follow up on your
comments and suggestions.
We are happy to announce that the report of the online meeting is now
available from the section on workshop #3 in the WG’s area on the RDA
website at [1].
If you have any comments on the issues presented at the online meeting,
please use the GitHub area of the WG at [2], where we have created issues
for each of the FAIR principles. You can post your comments under the
principle to which they pertain. We would like to receive your comments by
the 30th of June, if at all possible.
We have also created two GitHub issues for the two main items for which we
decided to discuss them in more detail before we could define indicators
for them:
‘Rich metadata’ at [3]
Knowledge representation at [4]
All members are kindly invited to contribute their ideas and suggestions in
the GitHub issues.
The collaborative Google document [5] remains open throughout July and
August in case members have more suggestions for indicators and maturity
The editorial team plans to follow up on the workshop and discussions on
the mailing list and GitHub at regular intervals in the coming months, in
order to develop more mature proposals for indicators and maturity levels
for discussion at the next online meeting scheduled for 12 September 2019.
Kind regards,
Keith Russell
