Dear members of the RDA FAIR Data Maturity Model Working Group,
We are very appreciative of the time you have taken to respond to our
survey and helped us finalise the FAIR data maturity model indicators.
Accordingly, as communicated earlier, the editorial team has put the
proposed change into motion;
● All suggestions
to
either downgrade or upgrade priorities have received a majority of votes in
favor, except for F1-01D Metadata is identified by a persistent identifier
(now RDA-F1-01D) and F1-01M Data is identified by a persistent identifier
(now RDA-F1-01M) for which the priorities will remain unchanged (i.e.
essential).
● All suggestions
for
addition, removal, combination or reformulation of indicators have received
a majority of votes in favor and consequently changes have been made.
These changes are now reflected in the FAIR data maturity model Indicators
and the FAIR data maturity model specification and guidelines. Aside from
the changes proposed by the survey, other changes have occurred in the
documents aforementioned such as; i) addition of a prefix to the indicator
ID, ii) reshuffle of IDs due to deletion and combination of indicators,
iii) final formatting of the document and iv) resolution of the GitHub
issues and comments in the document.
Please note that this version of the document will be subject to a public
