Don’t miss your chance to help create the 2019 ESIP Winter Meeting with us!
Breakout sessions due 11/16 | 2019 ESIP Summer Location Announcement
The Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP) meetings help Earth science
data-savvy professionals from across sectors and the data lifecycle find
each other and quickly work together to solve common data challenges. We
hear over and over that ESIP meetings are the most valuable part of what we
do and the value of the meetings is found in who shows up, the content that
is shared, key connections that are made and seeding innovations that often
    turn into funded projects.
ESIP meetings happen twice a year and our next meeting is January 15-17,
    2019 (ending at lunch) at
the North Bethesda Marriott, just outside of Washington, D.C. Over 80% of
the content at ESIP meetings is contributed by individuals from agencies
like NASA and NOAA, companies like AWS, Element 84 and Esri and academics
    from universities across the country.
*We need your help to complete the agenda! *The Winter Meeting will have
five breakout tracks and we have space for about 40 sessions. *We invite
you to **submit ideas for ESIP Winter Meeting sessions*
    *
by this Friday, November 16 COB.* Sessions received by this date will be
given priority agenda placement. To see content submitted so far check this
    spreadsheet
    .
We will post a draft agenda the Monday after Thanksgiving and announce
    plenary speakers.
Finally, because there is a lot of activity on the East Coast with the 2018
AGU Fall Meeting in D.C. and the 2019 ESIP Winter Meeting, the 2019 Summer
Meeting is staying on the West Coast one more year and will be in Tacoma,
WA July 15-19, 2019 at the Tacoma Convention Center. Details will follow
    during the Winter Meeting.
We hope to see you in 2019 and appreciate the time and effort you take in
contributing to these meetings! Need help with a session idea – contact
    ***@***.***.
