For our second session on 1 March, we are again at Hitotsubashi Hall, National Center of Sciences Building 2F, 2-1-2 Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 101-8439. We will be in Conference Room 2 for our joint session between IG-ETHRD and the RDA/CODATA Data Science Summer Schools WG.
Here is our proposed agenda:
Welcome and introductions around the room (15 mins, all). Please say who you are, what your job role and institution is, and briefly what your interest is in the topic of the session.
RDA IG Education and Training on Handling of Research Data - overview description (5 mins, Laura Molloy)
RDA WG Research Data Science Summer Schools - introduction and curriculum (10 mins introduction/10 mins curriculum, Simon Hodson/Andrew Harrison)
Discussion: round the room – curriculum development activities - what are you doing and what are you planning to do? (20 mins, all)
Example curriculum framework tool: DigCurV (15 mins, Laura Molloy)
Exercise: map the data skills for your professional role to the DigCurV 'practitioner' lens
Wrap up (10 mins)
Join IG and / or WG
Flag IG session and WG session (Thu, 11am)
