As per usual, there will also be a segment with introductions and discussions about everyone's research interests and current attempts! :)
So, if you are interested in participating, just join our discussions!

A little bit about our speaker:
Fotis Psomopoulos is working as a Bioinformatician at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB) at the Center for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), in Greece. His research focus lies at the intersection of data mining and bioinformatics, aiming to design computational approaches for the analysis of large bio-datasets. Beyond his research, he has a keen interest in both Open Science and Training; in this capacity, he is the deputy Training Coordinator for ELIXIR-GR and a Trainer in the Carpentries. His recent work includes the ELIXIR/Carpentries lesson on the 4 Simple recommendations for Open Source Software and the RDA Data Discovery Paradigms Interest Group output "Eleven quick tips for finding research data". More information is available at his website https://fpsom.github.io/.
Looking forward to talking with you!
