Dear Data policy standardisation and implementation members,
As indicated in our last email, here are details for our first community calls. We are planning to hold 2 calls to accommodate different time zones.
The main goal of these calls is to gather your requirements and features for journal/publisher research data policies. We will set up a Google document for each call, managed by 2 group co-chairs, which attendees on each call are encouraged to contribute to.
Please add your name to the doodle polls below so we have an idea of the number of attendees for each call. We will send meeting invites and conference call details for joining the calls in July.
Call #1 – Asia Pacific time zones: 6am BST (London UK time) Monday 17th July

Call #2 – US, EU & UK time zones: 4pm BST (London UK time) on Tuesday 18th or Wednesday 19th July

Agenda for each call, which should take less than one hour is:
    1. Brief introduction to the IG and goals for the call
    2. Stakeholder requirements & features gathering: Please share, from your stakeholder perspective (researcher/publisher/funder/research support staff/infrastructure provider), your requirements from journal and publisher research data policies.
    a. Example requirement: As a researcher I need my journal’s research data policy to support my community’s data repositories
    b. Example feature: A list of recommended repositories organised by community/discipline
    3. Open discussion / any other business
    4. Conclusions
We aim to present the findings of these calls at the RDA P10 meeting in Montreal.
Please email ***@***.*** if you have questions.
On behalf of the co-chairs I look for forward to speaking with you.
    Kind regards,
    Iain
