RE: [rda-agrisemantics-wg] Preliminary steps

Dear Imma,
both INRA and FAO have had internal consultations on the role of co-chair in order to make sure that the most suitable person is appointed from each side and the group is managed efficiently.
From our side, we have appointed a person. As soon as INRA / the AgroPortal have decided on the person who will take this responsibility from their side, the two co-chairs will organize a call with the participants of the Tokyo session.
This should not take long.

Dear members of the AgriSemantics group,
this is just a short message to inform you about next steps in kicking off the group.
Before launching discussions on this group, Cyril and I are going to have a call with other colleagues in our organizations to make sure that we appoint the most appropriate people so that the group can be efficiently facilitated.
For the moment, INRA / AgroPortal (in the person of either Cyril Pommier or Clement Jonquet) and FAO / GODAN / GFAR (in the person of either Valeria Pesce or another colleague) are co-chairs, but since there are many actions identified in this group and we know that some partners are strongly interested in specific actions, we invite members to contact us if they want to act as chairs for a specific action.
We will soon post Cyril's presentation and a re-organized version of the list of actions so that we can start.
