The Agrisemantics working session at the IGAD pre-meeting tomorrow will be dedicated to consolidate the requirements collected through the use case survey and initiate some recommendations. We will take benefit from the expertise of the many participants of IGAD who registered to our session (almost 30!). We already had very good presentations today related to FAIR principles and semantics and many questions and discussions following them.
The agenda for the morning will be:
9:30 - 10:00 Intro - presentation of use case and group org
10:00 - 10:30 Group work
10:30 - 11:00 Coffee
11:00 - 12:00 Group work
12:00 - 12:30 Presentation of group work (up to 2 min per group)
12:30 - 13:00 Discussion, next steps
We will ask the participants to work in small groups on the following requirements groups that emerged from the survey:
1. Editing tools (onto/thes creation & merging)
2. Alignments (creation, publishing, reuse...)
3. Consumption (rdfizing data, handling updates...)
4. Discoverability & Availability (metadata, repositories...)
5. Reference resources
Plus cross-cutting topics:
Training & skills -- Documentation -- Provenance
The slides are accessible here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1b7fiLU_3pS4_Qwfzh-xVjIVvZ_giR7p9...
The afternoon will be dedicated to GACS (Global Agricultural Concept Scheme) with the following agenda:

2. Business Model and Governance

We have great expectations for major advances during the day!
