Dear members of the PID Interest Group:

The programme for RDA Virtual Plenary 17 (VP17) is now available. We look forward to seeing you all virtually for over 100 sessions, including many repeat sessions on 22 and 23 April, in an effort to accommodate a wider range of time zones.

We will also be joined by Dr Jeni Tennison (The Open Data Institute), Dr Susan K. Gregurick (National Institutes of Health) and Professor Richard Gold (McGill University). The Plenary will also feature a panel discussion on ‘Facilitating Greater Data Reuse’ with Juan Bicarregui (STFC), Amy Pienta (ICPSR), Malarvizhi Veerappan (World Bank), Vundli Ramokolo (South African Medical Research Council) and James Hetherington (The Alan Turing Institute).

If you haven’t already, submit your poster application by 26 March, 23:59 UTC and take part in VP17’s dedicated poster sessions.

Make sure to have a look at the rich schedule of co-located events, taking place on Monday 19 April and Friday 23 April.

Registration is open at https://rdavp17.eventbrite.co.uk. An early bird rate is available until 2 April.
Watch this space for more information on our Scottish-themed networking breaks!

See you all virtually in April!

    Regards,
RDA Secretariat and the VP17 Organising Committee
