Dear IGAD community members,
 
With the termination of Esther Dzale and Armando Stellato’s chairpersonships, the IGAD is now looking to identify up to two new co-chairs amongst our community members. These can be agricultural data experts from the academia, private sector or government who are willing to bring in a fresh perspective to the team, dedicate time and help building this exciting community. Ideally, the two new co-chairs are representative of different areas of the globe (the two current co-chairs, Imma and Patricia represent Europe and South America, respectively), to guarantee the international relevance of our work, discussions and deliverables.
 
Are you excited to be part of the renovated team? Please write a short letter introducing who you are, what you do (and what experience you have with agricultural data), why you think you are a good candidate, and whether you would get support and approval from your institution to accomplish this role.
