GSP Plenary and Technical evaluation study
The progress in the Pillar 5 working group, the Pillar 4 working group and the Soil Data Facility of the GSP have been presented and discussed at the GSP Plenary meetingin Rome, 11-13 June 2018 by resp. Rainer Baritz, Neil McKenzie and Rik van den Bosch. The presentations of Rainer and Rik are attached. The Terms of Reference or concept note for the technical evaluation of the current soil data exchange models was presented by Rainer and has been approved by the Plenary and the Secretariat. The GSP secretariat will announce the call soon. We hope this study can be executed in the scope of a few months so the results can be discussed at the INSII meeting in October. When the call is awarded we will let you know in a mailing who will be conducting the work. We would like to ask you for your cooperation in this study, so we can achieve a useful and supported result.
