    All,
Two new items – a draft agenda and announcing one additional side meeting on the afternoon of 14 June.
Draft agenda is attached. This reflects our new two full days over three, yielding more time for interaction, which will require additional preparation from all participants. We will have ample time for group updates as usual, but please note that additional interaction from all of you is solicited in this agenda. The focus of the meeting is on gap analysis. Four years later (Goteborg to Goteborg!), where are we and what is missing. Each attending Chair will be asked for a short statement on this topic. We are also looking for volunteers to discuss, or lead discussions on, RDA’s Core Message(s) and Recommendations. How does this all fit together? What would you make of it from the outside, if you were new to RDA and what is needed? You will see this topic, in various guises, scattered throughout the agenda. This is all very flexible and we invite comment on the proposed agenda and, especially, participation in the meeting. Peter and I each have our own gap analysis, necessarily colored by our respective RDA activies, but we need others.
Finally, in addition to the previously announced meeting on Commercial Views on Data Sharing we now have a W3C/RDA Collaboration discussion led by Phil Archer of W3C and introduced towards the end of our Chairs meeting proper by Keith Jeffery. This involves a specific project (VRE4EIC) but will branch into the general topic of RDA/W3C collaboration. These meetings will both take place the afternoon of the 14th, after the conclusion of our meeting and all of the Chairs are invited. One more reason to attend!
    Best,
    Peter and Larry
