Hi Stefanie. Thank you.
I made some minor edits…see below:
Research Data Alliance (RDA) Regional event – 15-30 November 2020
To complement the Research Data Alliance Virtual Plenary 16 (VP16), taking place 9-12 November 2020, we are planning a series of mini events from 15-30 November 2020 at times convenient to Oceania and large parts of Asia that will build on sessions and themes from the Virtual Plenary, including:
· Research software;
· COVID-19 and data management;
· FAIR;
· Data versioning,
· and others yet to be confirmed.
Events will be available virtually, although, COVID-19 permitting, we will also attempt to set up local hubs where participants from one city can meet and network.
More detailed information, including a schedule of events, will be forthcoming in mid-October 2020.
If you are interested in hosting a local hub, would like to suggest additional topics, or have questions or comments about this event or RDA, please contact stefanie.kethers[at]ardc.edu.au.

Subject: [communications] Urgent – announcement about RDA regional event
Dear all,
Jens Klump pointed out that the WDS anniversary meeting is taking place next week, and that this would be a good opportunity to let people know about the RDA regional event that we have been planning. I have drafted some text for Jens to share with Rorie Edmunds (WDS), Estelle Cheng (Manager APAC Engagement, ORCID), and Masaki Kanao (ROIS, organiser of DSWS 2020).
Could you please have a look at the text below and let me know what you think? Any suggestions / comments would be great, but I need them ideally by COB today in your time zone (the earlier the better).
Thanks!
Cheers,
Stefanie
