Dear Yolanda, Sara, All,
Thank you for the image and like, Yolanda, I like it very much.
I agree with Yolanda’s suggestions and would add one comment on the last box:
“RDA’s goal is to expand etc.”
Written like that it appears as if our overall goal is only that so, could we include the mission there or something else:
1. RDA builds the social and technical bridges to enable data sharing and re-use across countries, disciplines and technologies.
2. RDA is dedicated to promoting the development of global infrastructure for data sharing and data-driven exploration across countries, disciplines and technologies
Of course, I like the “Season’s Greetings and Merry Outputs” part at the end.
Kind regards

I like it. The design is clean and I love the “Merry Outputs” message. I do have a couple of suggestions –
1 – The infographic focuses on the categorization of the data management life cycle, so I think we need to focus on that in the title. Perhaps change the subtitle to “38 Recommendations and outputs within the Data Management Life Cycle” and then an additional line that states “(also searchable by focus, scientific domain, or status)
2 – With each of the sections, the number of outputs do not add up to 38 total outputs. I’m assuming this is due to overlap in categories, but it’s confusing nonetheless. I’m also confused with the language in the sections “# of outputs – discover” – it’s not intuitive to me what this means. Is it a prompt to the user to click to view more? I recommend removing the number of outputs in each section and use clearer language as to how the user can get more info (perhaps just “View Recommendations and Outputs”.
I’m definitely interested in hearing others’ feedback and/or suggestions – I may be just overthinking it.
Thanks Sara.

Subject: [communications] End of the year infographic – Recommendations & oputputs catalogue first draft
Hi all,
please find attached the infographic to be linked to the catalogue.
The idea is to have each box linking to the catalogue with the filters applied.
If you like it, we can then reuse each single element to be adapted for the RDA in a Nutshell slides
