Hello, I got your previous email because I am a Geospatial IG (much too
silent) member.
I wonder if and where I could best fit in, with my project to build a
“digital twin” of the (Western European) rail network with the idea that
“the digital twin has memories, too”. You may see WERMA project here:
https://www.timemachine.eu/ltm-projects/werma-west-europe-rail-map-archive
The technology is based on the geocoding of stations, or major railway
works, to provide direct online access to Internet data related to this
same place. It’s easy with Wikipedia pages. Work is underway to collect
as much VGI (volunteered geographic information) as possible, in
particular heritage data.
If you have any advice, I would be delighted.
Robert
