From my side, I don’t have any further thoughts to add. But I guess,
it’s more a matter of taking the decision now, whether we want to go
for a PaNSIG session or not. If we decide to do so, I’d say, there is
enough substance in my first mail to formulate a session proposal
from.
@Thomas: are you going to attend P13? Philadelphia should be a
convenient travel for you after all. We could work on the idea of the
common instrument portal then. This would also be of interest for the
PID-Instrument WG.
Yes, I also got notice about the idea for the joint session from one
material mailing list. It’s a quite interesting topic, so in
principle, I’m in favour. The only thing that I’m not sure about is
whether we still may have our own session if also participate in a
joint session with another group. Maybe you (the group chairs) should
check with TAB about this.
