A FAIR share of crystallographic data: 17+ years of the Crystallography Open Database
The Crystallography Open Database (COD) is set to make all published small molecule and mineral crystal structures available under FAIR principles. Having been on-line for 17 years, the COD has collected over 450000 records of crystal strcutures in a standardised, machine-readable format. The poster discusses the ways such scientific databases can be built and addresses some difficulties in encountered currently in data sharing.

The poster disucusses FAIR data sharing practices and reveals tools for reproducible research, as discussed in RDA recommendations (in particular, Rauber et al.
