Target Audience: This workshop is aimed at potential users of the EVER-EST virtual research environment including interested parties involved with other VRE/virtual labs/science gateways initiatives that are represented in the VRE interest group

The EVER-EST Hands-on Workshop aims to promote the EVER-EST Virtual Research Environment (VRE) and discuss its functionalities with interested stakeholders and the general public.
The event will:
- Provide an overview of the EVER-EST project;
- Allow different user communities and stakeholders to evaluate the deployed and semi-mature EVER-EST VRE infrastructure and to use the available services and tools;
- Allow participants to build their own Research Objects and to provide first-hand impressions on the utility of the research object concept for their own activities including feedback on possible adaptation and evolution to better fit their needs;
- Permit the EVER-EST consortium to collect timely feedback which will ultimately be integrated into the platform development cycle.
