The Research Data Alliance (RDA) invites you to a workshop aimed at exploring the community’s contributions to shaping global and national science policies using RDA outputs and recommendations. This 1-hour workshop will be offered twice (on May 15th at 15:00 UTC and May 20th at 06:00 UTC) to accommodate participants across time zones.
Workshop Aims
The sessions will present clear policy statements supported by practical applications, adoption stories, and future potential of RDA’s recommendations and outputs related to Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) National Strategies, Journal Data Policy Frameworks and the necessary Evolution of Research Evaluation Frameworks.
The outcome of the workshops will be a white paper based on speaker contributions and workshop notes. The white paper will be shared with the RDA community.
Who is it for?
The workshop is for RDA Organisational Assembly (OA) members, Funders Forum members (FF), and the Regional Assembly (RA) members.
Agenda
The workshop will include short presentations from RDA community members on RDA adoption or impact stories related to Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) National Strategies, Journal Data Policy Frameworks and the necessary Evolution of Research Evaluation Frameworks. Each thematic talk, will be followed by a group reflection, and conclude with a wrap-up and discussion of next steps.
