Event details

Date: 4 April 2017

Time: 14:00-18:00

Type of event: Collocated event

Target Audience:

Research Communities, Cloud Service Providers.

The event will take as starting point the analysis in the INDIGO DataCloud project to define Data Integrity tests  to be performed associated to Data Ingestion.

It is open to all communities and solutions: in the first part of the meeting we will contrast generic approaches from different cloud-related providers (INDIGO,EGI,EUDAT), and in the second part of the meeting detailed Case Studies will be presented, related to communities with large impact in research (proposals for presentations are welcome).

Contacts: Fernando Aguilar, Jesus Marco de Lucas, IFCA-CSIC

The event will analyze the requirements and solutions to effectively handle data management using Cloud services.

The meeting will start comparing generic approaches from different cloud-related providers (INDIGO,EGI,EUDAT), and it will be followed by the presentation of detailed Case Studies, related to communities with large impact in research (like ELIXIR, CTA, ENES, EMSO, etc, more communities are welcome). In the final part of the meeting the existing solutions based on cloud services will be matched to the Case Studies presented, as possible.
