PIT work is making progress behind the scenes, so it is time for some
updates via this list. After the P3 in Dublin, we had several intense
exchanges with CNRI and the Type Registriy WG which ended up in a
consolidation of the TR data model. This finally allowed us to clarify
the way we will actually encode the proposed PID property/type
mechanisms in the registry. Since then, we have moved towards working on
the actual PIT API prototype and we hope to come to a concise state
in the weeks prior to P4. If you want to get involved or would like to
know more details, just send me an e-mail!
As for the P4 itself, please see the notification sent around earlier:
Our focus at the P4 session will be on presenting our outcomes and
adoption - within RDA and external.
If you have any comments or feedback, just let us know!
