Have no fear Herbert - the group is packed with folk with experience of W3C standards like SKOS, RDFS and OWL, the application of Linked Data principles, and a commitment to application of existing standards in preference to re-invention.

I'm very interested in this group - I didn't seem to be able to add that comment on the charter proposal page so I'm making a note here. Does anybody have an idea what the timeline is from here? It's been about 6 weeks of "community review" - will that continue much longer? Then there's the technical advisory board review? Can we do some things while we're waiting for the reviews? It looked like there is a wiki that can be set up, and some other configuration stuff... just wondering how we can get things moving a bit more here...

Hi Arthur -
The process is that, ideally, Community Review lasts about 30 days; then there is a short period of time for addressing comments; then a two week TAB review; then some time for addressing comments; then Council review.
Depending upon the extent of comments and availability of editors to make the changes, the whole thing can take 3 months or so. In the meantime, comments and discussions should be able to happen on your group page.
Does this help?
Thanks
K
