Dear researcher, data provider, data centre/research infrastructure manager,
We would like to invite you to contribute to the collection of user stories for the InteroperAble Descriptions of Observable Property Terminology (I-ADOPT) RDA Working Group. These user stories will be used to derive requirements for an interoperability framework between existing representations of observable properties. A user story is a short and simple description of an application which requires semantic descriptions of observable properties.
If you would like to contribute a user story, you may do so by creating an issue in our GitHub user stories repository. Issue submission requires an existing GitHub account; if you do not already have an account, you may create one here or submit your user stories using a similar format by email. To help you get started, we have provided detailed instructions on how to submit user stories, as well as a couple of example issues to aid you in the compilation of your own user story.
To achieve better comparison results, we encourage you to submit user stories around the use of data related to nitrogen first. We request that contributions be submitted before December 15, 2019. If you need any clarification please contact ***@***.***.
If you want to know more about the objectives of this RDA Working Group please read our case statement here: https://www.rd-alliance.org/sites/default/files/case_statement/I-ADOPT%2...
Best regards,
Barbara Magagna on behalf of the chairs of I-ADOPT

Dear I-ADOPT WG member,
We would like to remind you about our request to submit user stories for I-ADOPT by 8th January 2020, if possible. Please note that the user story is not limited to Nitrogen, therefore you may submit any user stories in relation to the description of observable properties. Please submit a first draft of the user story as soon as possible - you can always enhance it later on. It would be helpful to have a variety of stories before our next teleconference (9th January) because we want to discuss about how this approach fits to the purpose of the WG and if this has to be refined.
The instructions on user stories are available at https://github.com/i-adopt/users_stories. We have also included an example of user story in the Github for your reference.
We wish you all Merry Christmas and nice holidays!
Barbara Magagna on behalf of the chairs of I-ADOPT
