Dear all,
I am very sorry to not attend the meeting despite the fact to be held in Barcelona (I only attended a previous session on Tuesday). These weeks are being complicated at work.
Regarding appraisal it could be interesting to check the results of FIED Project (Appraisal Iberoamerican Forum, 2009-2012), sponsored by ICA under direction of Prof. Norma Fenoglio, and more specifically the results of Digital Records Working Group, whose I was a member.
Attached you can find an abstract (5 p.) and the complete text of Digital Records Report in Spanish. You can download the Final Report of the project and the other sectorial reports at http://blogs.ffyh.unc.edu.ar/evaluaciondedocumentos/producciones/
Please, feel free to comment or to contac me if you need or wish some additional information.

Hi everyone,
Thanks to the co-chairs for organizing and leading a great session in
Barcelona! I'm writing to follow up about a resource which came up during
our conversation, the NDSA levels of digital preservation model. This model
(http://ndsa.org/activities/levels-of-digital-preservation/) was intended
to be broadly applicable to digital materials, and to be updated regularly,
but it has not been modified since 2013 as far as I know. In any case, is
this the sort of thing we could imagine developing as a group output or is
there another vision? Alternatively, this is just a useful resource to
point researchers to when asked about how to get involved with digital
preservation as it identifies small steps which can be taken by individual
researchers.
Cheers! Looking forward to continuing the conversation with you all.

Hi Lluis-Esteve,
Thanks for sending those on - it's a shame you couldn't make it to the meeting in Barcelona.
Unfortunately I am not a Spanish speaker but I hope that the group will find it useful! If you come across an English translation please let us know.
Best regards,
Rebecca

Hi Adam,
That’s great, thanks for sending this on! I do think that this type of chart or graphic is the type of thing the group should be looking at developing. As it is aimed at institutions rather than researchers, and hasn’t had an update since 2013, I do think there’s scope to create a new resource as part of the RDA group.
Rebecca
