Paola Gargiulo

Paola Gragiulo works at CINECA, she is currently involved in several projects related to the dissemination of knowledge through the implementation of alternative models of production and distribution of scholarly publications.

She is also active in coordinating and promoting advocacy and training activities on research data management in Italy.

She has been responsible for the NOAD - National Open Access Desk for Italy in the Eu funded OpenAire project (2009-2011) extended in OpenAirePlus (2012-2014) and is currently involved as a NOAD in the OpenAIRE 2020 project (2015-2018).

She also coordinated the Italian participation in the European project MedOAnet (2011-2013).

OpenAIRE and Eudat services and tools to support FAIR DMP implementation

Abstract. The presentation briefly describes the Horizon 2020 ORD- Open Research Data Pilot requirements which will be extended to all project in 2017 and examines more closely the recent Horizon 2020 guidelines on Fair Data management. Then it illustrates the tools and data services offered by the Eu funded project OpenAIRE and Eudat to help researchers and research organisations in writing a Data Management Plan and make the data openly findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable in a research data repository.
